We are kicking off our coffee chats for 2023 with a discussion on current events using an ethical framework.

Workshop description: Guided reflection and analysis discussions of current issues/demands encountered at work, as well as analysis of action taken, other ideas, and ethics applications. Tying CPC tenets to decisions made and recommendations for future instances.

About the presenter:
D'Andra Parsons will be facilitating this coffee chat. D’Andra has been Oklahoma QAST certified since 2001, earning her RID CI/CT in 2008. Her degrees include a B.S. in Elementary Education from the University of Oklahoma and a M.Ed. from the University of North Florida in ASL/English Interpreting. Since 2013, D’Andra has worked as part time faculty with the Interpreter Training Program at OSU-OKC. She enjoys the varied settings and clientele that freelance work provides. She makes her home in Davis but provides interpreting services throughout the state.

This workshop is for OKRID members and is offering professional studies in the amount of .1 CEUs at the Little/some content knowledge level.
